Pune Book Fair to commence today

The 19th Pune Book Fair was inaugurated on 28th April at Creaticity, Yerawada in Pune. This year’s book fair was inaugurated by the renowned writer Mr. Ashok Kamat.  

This year’s exhibition features a wide variety of stalls, more than 40 stalls to are going to be set up including from the reputed publishing houses across the country. Publications Division of Government of India, Census, and other departments like All India Radio and the Council for Educational Research and Training have also participated. 

At least 10,000 books on more than 250 different subjects are available for sale in the gallery of the Publications Division. Books on History, Art, Literature, Culture, and other topics are on sale at these galleries. Discounts of 10% to 90% on selected publications are also available in some of the stalls.

 A special competition has been organized for the visitors by the Census department with offers of incentives and prizes.  The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm daily till 1st May 2022.
